| Description: |
By 1933 the elevators were no longer in use. A trestle in Algonquin Park was crushed by ice, and was not rebuilt, halting all rail traffic to Depot Harbour. In 1945, the elevators were being torn down to make room for a coal tipple. Before the elevators were completely dismantled, they were destroyed by fire. |
