| Description: |
Log pickers were paid by the lumber companies to retrieve logs that had escaped from booms. Losing a log was expensive, considering the cost of felling just one. Lumber companies paid the log pickers handsomely for returned logs. This is the Log Pickers Association houseboat, docked at an island near Parry Sound. |
