| Description: | Loggers pose while piling logs on a sleigh. The logs were piled using a "jammer," the apparatus to the left of the sleigh. A chain was attached to the logs, and hauled on top of the pile using the horses. The logs would then be taken to the sawmill if it were nearby, or to a log dump to be sent down rivers in the spring. |
