| Description: |
Felled logs were piled on sleighs and hauled by a team of horses to log dumps. The logs were piled on the ice or the shore, and were rolled into the lake when the ice melted in the spring. Once in the lake, the logs would be sent to the mills through an intricate river system. This dump was in Christie Township. |
