Lumbering; The River Drive |
| Description: |
Lumbermen help move sawlogs along a series of water falls. The men wore special boots with small nails or "caulks" in them to grip the logs. The river drive lasted from the spring break-up of the ice until the summer when the water was too low to move the logs. |
