Description: The buildings to the left of the photograph are part of the spool and bobbin factory. It was built in 1910, and operated until 1997. It produced many types of small wooden pieces, such as the cores that were used to wrap paper around, as well as plugs, wooden spools, and game board pieces. The factory made eight different men for the Monopoly game, over fifty thousand of each shape.
