| Description: | The swing bridge, built for the use of trains, pivots at the centre to allow taller ships to pass through the channel. It was built in 1898, connecting Parry Island, where Depot Harbour was located, to the mainland. The last official train to Depot Harbour, carrying coal, passed over the bridge in 1979, and the tracks were removed in 1989. |
